NOTES
The organ was originally built for First Trinity Evangelical Lutheran in
Oakland, CA. The Great 8 ft. Open Diapason originally had its first 18
pipes in the stenciled façade. It was replaced there in 1946 by Aeolian-
Skinner, Opus 1102.
At that time, the organ was relocated to Grace Lutheran in Visalia, CA.
by an undocumented person or firm.
Ca. 1978, the organ was relocated through the Organ Clearing House to
Resurrection Lutheran in Des Moines, WA. where it was reinstalled by
Glenn D. White dba Olympic Organ Builders. Tonal changes were made at
the time of installation in WA.
The façade has been substantially altered for the Resurrection Lutheran
installation. Pipes 1 thru 8 of the Great 8 ft. Open Diapason once
originally in the façade are now offset inside. Only the original center
section of the façade over the keydesk exists - partially altered - and
contains pipes GG# 9 thru F 18 of the Great 8 ft. Open Diapason. The
Great 8 ft. Dulciana has been replaced with a IV Mixture.
On the Swell, the original 8’ “string” register has been replaced with
a 2’ register. The Swell Tremolo has been intentionally disabled.
The Pedal had two ranks added: an 8 ft. open metal which is controlled
by the original Bellows Signal drawknob; and a 4 ft. open metal which
is controlled by the original Great 8’ Stopd Bass drawknob.
