NOTES
This was the reinstallation of the existing Estey in the new church; previously electrified in 1978 at the old location by Moller Rep.
Harold Curryer of Spokane, WA. The organ was installed "as is" by church
directive - despite the rather desperate need for releathering of the
original Estey primaries.
Part of the Estey case was used as a backdrop for the altar platform.
The organ was installed in side-by-side chambers at the back of the
temporary sanctuary: Great on the left and Swell on the right. The Pedal
16' Bourdon was in the Great chamber and the 16' Lieblich Gedeckt was in
the Swell chamber. The new "sanctuary" was also used as a parish hall, and the carpeting was printed with colored lines for a basketball court
with hoops at either end of the room and a mesh curtain that lowered to
protect the chancel furnishings. Future plans are to build a proper,
dedicated sanctuary.
