Churchtown, NY St. Thomas Lutheran Organ by George Jardine & Son Manual (C1 - A58) 8' Diapason Bass (C1-E17 in case) 8' Diapason (F18-A58) 8' Melodia 8' Clariana * 4' Flute Harmonic 4' Principal 2' Piccolo 8' Trumpet ** Pedal (C1 - D27) 16' Bourdon Manual to Pedal Balanced Swell Pedal Tremulant - non-original replacement Ventus .45 Blower added sometime in the 1980's Reservoir is still original double-rise * Clariana - When we (Rosenberry & Myers Organbuilders) first did some work on this organ, this knob was just a white "kitchen cabinet" knob with no labeling. A nearby 1-manual Jardine had a similar stop named Clariana so we installed a replacement vintage matching stopknob and labeled it Clariana. ** Trumpet - These pipes had been removed from the organ years ago. When we first looked at the organ Some old string pipes were in the bass and some old chimney flute pipes were in the treble of the toeboard. When we removed all the organ pipes and cleaned the windchest these non-original pipes were not re-installed so a Trumpet could be re-installed if ever possible someday. A number of the wood pipes in the organ say "Hudson Lodge", suggesting this organ could have been originally installed in nearby Hudson, NY. It has been said it is from a Masonic Temple, but the Hudson, NY Masonic Temple I knew of had a Vocalion reed organ.
