NOTES
The chamber is installed between the chapel and the Assembly Hall. Expression
shutters on both sides of the chamber allow the organ to be heard in either
location. Two, identical consoles allow the organ to be played from either
location. The chapel console is permanently installed in the gallery, while the
Assembly Room console is movable.

The contract was signed November 13, 1930, and the organ was to be installed and
ready for use by February 1, 1931. The cost was $10,575.00. The organ was evidently
given as a gift of the Dept. Store mogul R.C. Wieboldt whose company is named as
the party of the second part and who signed the contract.

The console features the patented Austin canceler bars over the stop keys of each
division. The wind pressure was 7" except for the Swell 8' Vox Humana which is
housed on its own chest in its own box with its own tremulant, and which speaks on
4" w.p. Each of the consoles has a piston whereby the opposite console may be
entirely cut out.
