NOTES
The case is from the Hutchings-Votey, Opus 554, 1901 - originally built
for a Congregational church in Brockton, MA. It is made of Australian
lacewood. The H-V had been an electro-pneumatic instrument, but the
chests of all the manual divisions and their note channels (and thus,
their toeboards) were on a common grid. This enabled the original H-V
toeboards to be used with new slider chests, and saved on re-racking of
original pipework.
