NOTES
Manual compass: CC–a3, 58 notes; Pedal compass: CCC–D, 27 notes. Originally
built for this location. The organ was moved to the Craigville, Massachu-
setts (Congregational) Tabernacle and set up by volunteers in 1960. Subse-
quent tonal changes were made in 1966.
The chests are chromatic; the Swell is behind the Great; the pedal keyboard
has radiating sharps, unusual in a Hook & Hastings organ of the period; the
pedal pipes are divided at each side; the three flats of the walnut case
contain 17 Open Diapason basses and the lowest 4 Octave pipes; there are
key-depth adjustment screws in the key cheeks.
