NOTES
Both the Great 4' Flute and 2' Piccolo were chimney flutes. The 4' Flute had a
stopped wood bass; 37 chimneyed pipes; and the rest open metal trebles. The 2'
Piccolo began with 37 chimneyed pipes, and the rest were open metal trebles.

When the Free Will Baptist and Second Baptist merged in 1924 and built a new
edifice on the site of the Free Will Baptist, the Simmons was moved-along, but
rebuilt and electrified by William W. Laws of Beverly, MA. The Great and Swell
chests became the Great and Choir divisions of the 'new' 3-manual organ.

The exact nomenclature of stops and controls is not known, as the organ was
never documented in original form.
