NOTES
This organ began life as a 2-manual, 6-rank unit organ built by Reuter in 1954 as
their opus 1087 for St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Spring Lake, New Jersey.
With the assistance of organ curator Don Davett, Edward Krynicki and John McGovern
were able to negotiate acquisition of the organ – which the congregation was re-
placing with an electronic substitute and had literally planned on placing the pipe
organ in a dumpster.
The organ was removed in 2004 by the new owners assisted by family, and transported
to Florida where they installed it in their home in 2004-2005. It was enlarged from
its original 6 ranks to 10 ranks.
In 2010, they moved to a new residence and brought the organ along. In it's new home
it has been enlarged to 26 ranks, and a used 4-manual Möller console from an Orlando
church was procured. The installation was completed in 2012. The organ is equipped
with a Peterson solid state system.
