The Swell Diapason and Dulciana were pretty. The "Salicional" was actually an Aeoline ("Aeoline" was stamped on the
pipes) with the toes opened up, producing a honking sound.

In the early or mid-1950s, First Evangelical & Reformed Church either moved or went defunct, and the organ was 
removed, stored under bad conditions, and suffered deterioration. In 1958 it was purchased by Mebane Presbyterian 
Church in Mebane ("MEBB-un"), a small town about 30 miles away. Mebane Presbyterian had just built a new building. 
But this organ was a terrible mismatch, and its deterioration continued. In the early 1970s, a Principal was added, 
73 pipes, playing at 4', 2-2/3' and 2' on the Great. The organ served, with decreasing reliability, until 1990, when 
it was replaced with Casavant's Op. 3683, q.v. Möller's Op. 7188 drew no buyers, so it was given to an organ 
maintenance man from Virginia who agreed to remove it for free.
