Technical Details

Slider chests. Mechanical key action. Mechanical stop action.

Two manuals. 21 stops. 27 ranks.

Traditional style console. The mechanical action console is detached from the main case and reversed.

Drawknobs in horizontal rows on terraced/stepped jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. Combination Action: 'Hold and Set' pneumatic/mechanical system. Concave radiating pedalboard. Combination action thumb pistons. Combination action toe studs. Coupler reversible thumb pistons. Coupler reversible toe studs.

  • Updated through online information from Kevin Francis Murphy. -- From the NYCAGO Organ Project web site: The Hall & Labagh organ of 1870 was originally built for Princeton University; donated to Christian Herald Bowery Mission 1896. The Stuart organ includes manual chests and some pipework from the Hall & Labagh. (Database Manager. February 5, 2012)
