We presently are going to begin fundraising on GoFund.com to raise funds to either rebuild the motor or put in a new one. The motor siege last winter. At the time, a few of the stops needed to be looked at. (Database Manager. December 7, 2016)
  • Updated by kathleen Ann astrella, who has heard or played the organ. In addition kathleen Ann astrella gave this as a source of information: I am the supervisor of the Visual & Performing Arts Dept at Kearny High School.
The Skinner was not playable as the motor siezed. I am happy to report that on Friday, February 10, 2017 the refurbished motor will be installed. The funding was provided by the Kearny Board of Education..
We have deactivated the GoFundme.com, as the Board of Education funded the repair to the motor. (James Cook. February 9, 2017)
