Technical Details

Electro-pneumatic (EP) pitman chests.

Four manuals. 50 stops. 56 registers. 63 ranks. 4176 pipes. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

Notes

  • Identified through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
    #488-B and #A-942: some Choir and other tonal changes to the main organ and an electrified one manual tracker that had been installed in the gallery; later rebuilt by Gilbert Adams in 1974. (Database Manager. January 19, 2006)
  • Updated through online information from Stephen Best. -- Any remnants of this organ were removed when the present Holtkamp organ was installed. (Database Manager. December 18, 2007)
