Technical Details

Electro-pneumatic (EP) pitman chests.

Four manuals. 6 divisions. 44 stops. 54 registers. 52 ranks. 3428 pipes. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is in chambers to the sides at the front of the room. There are no visible pipes.

  • Identified through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
    Extant; unaltered; Chapel organ (two-manual console) playable from main console as 'Echo'; some restoration by Richard Lahaise, 1987-92; continued restoration by Nelson Barden & Associates. (Database Manager. November 16, 2006)
  • Merged in 1970 with St. Mark's Methodist and The Baptist Church in Brookline to become United Parish. (Jeff Scofield. August 13, 2018)
