Technical Details

Electro-pneumatic (EP) pitman chests.

Four manuals. 7 divisions. 71 stops. 92 registers. 104 ranks. 5867 pipes. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is in chambers at the center front of the room. There are no visible pipes.

  • Identified through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
    Extant; some tonal alterations in 1969-87 by Lawless & Associates; console rebuilt by DiGennaro-Hart in 1988; some tonal revision by Di Gennaro-Hart. [See #1479 for Chapel organ] (Database Manager. July 3, 2008)
  • According to the Dobson web site, they conducted restorative repairs to the organ in 2011. It is not known if this was a restoration to the instrument's original state or to one of its other configurations. (Database Manager. November 23, 2011)
