Technical Details

Slider chests. Mechanical key action. Mechanical stop action.

Three manuals. 4 divisions. 35 stops. 42 ranks.

The organ is in a case at the front of the room. Traditional style console. The organ has an attached keydesk.

Drawknobs in horizontal rows on terraced/stepped jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. No combination action. Flat straight pedalboard.

Notes

  • The original builder was Woodberry & Harris (1893, Opus111). (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
  • Status Note: There 1998 (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
  • Built for St. John's R. C., Providence, RI. Originally detached console with tracker action to case, with pneumatic couplers and primary valves which activated pneumatics beneath pallet and slider chests. Acquired through OCH. Installed and enlarged by Andover 1986 as their Op. R-265. New tracker action from original console (now attached to case) to original chests. (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
