The organ has been altered from the original installation as described here.
The organ is in good condition and is used occasionally.
We received the most recent update on this organ's state and condition January 12, 2016.


Technical Details

Electro-pneumatic (EP) chests.

Three manuals. 4 divisions. 55 stops. 58 registers. 73 ranks. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is at the front of the room, and some pipes are exposed. Non-traditional style console.

Stop keys above top manual. Balanced swell shoes/pedals, standard AGO placement. AGO Standard (concave radiating) pedalboard.

  • Solid State memory. Moved from Garden Court to Gartner Auditorium by Walter Holtkamp, Jr. at time of rebuild. Stoplist in Rolla file. (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
  • Updated through on-line information from Don Daley. -- The instrument is to the best of my knowledge currently in storage at the Holtkamp shop while the Museum of Art is conducting major additions and renovations to the building. (Database Manager. December 28, 2008)
  • Stored in 2005 and then rebuilt and reinstalled by Holtkamp in the renovated Gartner Auditorium in 2010. (Jeff Scofield. January 12, 2016)
