Arthur Storey Clamp (February 29, 1928 - January 6, 2019) was born in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Jefferson High School, he spent 3 years in the Army-Air Force. He started with Otto Hofmann of Austin, Texas, c. 1965, where he worked on the installation of the organ at the Margarite B. Parker Chapel at Trinity University, San Antonio. He later worked with the Robert Sipe of Dallas, Texas, 1967. He was with the Aeolian-Skinner firm of Boston, Massachusetts, 1969-1972; when Aeolian-Skinner closed, he established his own firm c. 1973, completing a contract for a rebuild of a small tracker.
