Fischer Organ Co. is the successor firm to Paul Fischer Pipe Organ Sales and Service of Erie, Pennsylvania. Paul Fischer was the foreman for Tellers Organ Co. and continued in that role when the factory was purchased by Lawrence Phelps. After the Phelps firm closed, Paul Fischer started a service firm, taking over most of the maintenance contracts from the previous two firms.¹ His son, Mark, joined the business, and took over day-to-day operation when the senor Fischer reduced his activities in semi-retirement.² The firm closed in 2016.³
