Fred started building organs in the York, Pennsylvania area in 1936 and built organs until his death in 1972. He was a very active builder with over 70 organs to his credit. I am working on a book on Fred Furst and am documenting his instruments. Many have been removed, some have been rebuilt and a few are still playing in original condition. I have hundreds of pictures, and stop lists and general information that all will be included in the book when finished.
