William Geib was the brother of Adam Geib;* he was in partnership with Adam 1822-27 in New York City. Their firm sold and perhaps manufactured chamber organs.

*If this is the Adam Geib that was twin brother of John Geib Jr, Ogasapian does not mention him in the entry on either John Sr or Jr. One possibility is that there were two Adam Geibs in the area at the time. First cousins often shared the same name in the 1800s as they would be named after a common grandfather.
