Brother of Ebenezer Goodrich, brother-in-law of Thomas Appleton; changed name from Goodridge' to Goodrich,' 1805; with Henry Pratt of Winchester, New Hampshire, 1798; in Boston, Massachusetts, 1799-1803, pewterer and piano/organ repairer; briefly partner with Benjamin Crehore of Milton, Massachusetts, pianos; partner with brother [Ebenezer] in Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1804-1807; with Hayts, Babcock & Appleton of Boston, Massachusetts, 1812 and 1815; operated his own firm in Boston, Massachusetts, 1813-1814; with McKay & Co. of Boston, Massachusetts, 1815-1820; had firm 1820-1833.
