August Klann started the company in Ohio, he moved to Virginia to be closer to his largest customer, Barckoff Organ Company. Paul Klann, son of founder Auguste, was president 1952-1995. His son Phillip became president in 1995.
Originally, organ chest magnets were the main product, but over time the product line was expanded to include consoles and other products. Product offerings in 2015 include consoles, console interiors, console refurbishment, control system installation and testing, pedalboards, windchests, reed switch thumb pistons, pedal valves and cymblesterns.
