Established by Giovanni Tamburini in Crema, Italy in 1893. Divided into two companies in 1979: Tamburini of Crema led by Franco Tamburini and Anselmi-Tamburini in Pianengo led by Luciano (both grandsons of Giovanni). Originally making electric action organs, they turned to making tracker action instruments in 1967.
