William Stuart, Sr., brother of George, Henry, Louis, and William Stuart, Jr., half-brother of Richard M. Ferris, father of Ferris L. and Frederick L. Stuart; with firm of
Richard M. Ferris in New York City, New York, became partner with Ferris in
Ferris & Stuart 1857; succeeded Ferris with Levi U. Stuart, Organs, 1860; died April 28, 1904 in Bronx, New York.
