Note from the Organ Database Builders editors Charles Eberline and Stephen Hall, June 17, 2017. -

Paul R. Brendel died December 4, 2012 at age 88. Retired after 41 years as an electrical engineer. Second career rebuilding seven pipe organs in various churches.

Services were held at St. Thomas Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 3980 S. Lindbergh, St. Louis, MO 63127. Donations were suggested for Holy Spirit Pipe Organ Maintenance Fund. This suggests Holy Spirit was one of the organs that he rebuilt.-Ed.
