Walmer A. 'Gus' Brummer was a graduate of Washington University of St. Louis, Missouri. He started with the Reuter Organ Co. of Lawrence, Kansas, in 1935 and stayed until 1937. He established Midwest Organ Service of Granite City, Illinois, in 1937. He became a representative of M. P. Möller of Hagerstown, Maryland, in 1946 as production resumed following the war. He later became a United States representative for the Werner Bosch firm of Germany; he closed the firm in 1987.
Brummer died December 31, 1995 in Alhambra, Illinois, age 90.
