The organ was renovated once in its life and is in pristine condition. It is serviced by an organ company from Vermont. The church has high historical importance both locally & regionally. The church is now owned by the Durkeeetown Baptist Church who holds Sunday services and who has been restoring and historically preserving the church for an extended period of time. The organ was recently played for an Ascension service in 2022.
The cost of the organ was $450. It was purchased fo Mr. Wm. H. Davis of New-York, [Presumably replaced by Johnson, Op. 548, 1880.]
