There was still something needed in the new church — a new organ. This was secured in the early part of the year 1893. It was manufactured by Mr. Samuel Bohler at a cost of $3500. Pastor Steinmetz secured nearly the whole of this amount. The organ was dedicated on Sunday, May 7, 1893, by the pastor. -- information from History of the Reformed church in Reading, Pa., DANIEL MILLER, Jan 24, 1906
