Updated through online information from Dan Dilllingham, parishioner. -- This was the first pipe organ of the First United Methodist Church of Wayne. The instrument was sold after a member Dr Parker purchased the Johnson Organ from Eastern Michigan University which was later installed in its place. The Johnson organ was rebuilt in the new sanctuary in the 1950's by Dewey Layton.
Listed in Musical Courier, 2 Oct. 1882. May be Farrand & Votey nameplate.
