Database Manager on February 27th, 2018:
Updated by William M. Worden, the builder.

While the chests are described as Austin Universal Air Chests, the chests were not built by Austin, but were of that general type. The description of console equipment listed above is for the 1943 replacement console installed by Hillgreen-Lane. While the Hammer organ retained the Odell case, pedal windchests and much Odell pipework, it might be best not to regard the Hammer organ as a rebuilding of the Odell. Given the addition of a manual, plus rescalings and the use of Odell pipework in ways and locations never intended, and the disposal of much Odell pipework including all the reeds except the pedal 16', the Hammer likely bore little tonal resemblance to the Odell.

Database Manager on January 21st, 2013:
Updated through online information from William M. Worden. -- Hammer's chests were a variant of the Austin electro-pneumatic universal windchest.

Database Manager on October 30th, 2004:
Completed rebuilt in pf Odell Op. 121. Odell pipework altered, rescaled, damaged and discarded. Variation of universal windchest for manuals. Electrified Odell chests in pedals. Replaced by 1973 William Worden, using re-trackerized Odell pedal chests, case, and a little of the Odell pipework.
