Robert Zanca on December 7th, 2023:

Original contract no. 567, lined out and replaced with 868. The contract is heavily annotated, with several handwritten addenda. Original design was for 3 manuals with the Choir manual as a console preparation only. Handwritten addendum of chimes and Vox Humana "in swell box located probably in the attic of the house". This version includes 14 ranks and chimes.

A handwritten note indicates the architect of the residence is the renowned Moise H. Goldstein.

A second document numbered 868A is for 3 manuals, 15 ranks. The choir contains 5 stops by duplex action from the great plus the Vox Humana. There is a typed addendum to add a Stopped Flute 8' of 61 pipes in the attic, bringing the total to 16 ranks. A handwritten note indicates "Voicing to be soft & refined for a small music room."
