Updated through on-line information from John Elwood. -- The Barrett House is an Historic New England owned property, open for a few hours twice a month during the spring and summer. If this organ wasn't already listed here I'd have assumed it was a reed organ... as it just isn't that big. The "ballroom" is a third floor area running the front length of the house, and the organ sits between the two fireplaces in this room. Like most furnishings, the beautiful square piano nearby is original to the house. The however organ was brought to the home sometime after the 1950s.
