Updated through on-line information from Bon Smith. -- The organ was an Austin stock model, the "Chorophone", a 4-rank unit organ with Diapason, Gedeckt, Dulciana, and Viole d'Orchestre ranks. Opus 783 was originally installed in South Congregational Church, Granby, CT. It was later moved to a studio which was a separate building at the Nestrock residence. The organ was fatally damaged by rainwater leaks. The pipes were removed to storage at Austin Organ Service Co., in Avon, CT. The Gedeckt rank was revoiced and installed in the Austin organ, opus 2431 at Avon Congregational Church, Avon, CT.
