Bradford Willis, DDS. -- "In 1959 a memorial gift of $10,000.00 was presented the church by the children of the late William Markham and Laura Risher Sleeper. With this largess a new organ console and pipes were purchased and installed; the ceremony of dedication was marked by a program of distinguished music, played by Mr. William Barnard, organist and choirmaster of Christ Church Cathedral, Houston." - from St. Paul's Episcopal Church Waco, Texas 1863-1963 A Hundred Years' Witness A Centennial History, compiled by Luella Conger Boyton.
