The organ was re-pitched by Robert I. Thomas, its owner, who also enlarged the pedal compass from 25 to 27 notes, and rebuilt the hand-pumping mechanism. Low C is located on the treble end of the windchest, a characteristic of early Kilgen organs. -- 1979 OHS Handbook
