Replaced in 1956 by a new 3/26 Kilgen; according to the announcement in the July 1955 issue of THE DIAPASON, the 1886 Kilgen was still in use until that time.
Updated through on-line information from T. Bradford Willis, DDS. -- There is an advertisement in the August 21, 1890 Fort Worth (Texas) Daily Gazette which states: " Judson Female Institute, Marion Alabama. A new three manual pipe organ recently donated will be added to the valuable stock of instruments this vacation."
Builder's Nameplate: Possibly Geo. Kilgen (& Son?)
Is this an electrification of the 1889, 3-29 Kilgen?
