Database Manager on May 23rd, 2013:

Updated through online information from John Speller. -- "The building that stands there today descends with various modifications from the building that was erected in 1856. The most major modification to that building was in 1872 when a gabled roof was added to the exterior and a balcony added to the second floor sanctuary to counter the roof's outward thrust. At the same time an apse was added for the Hook and Hastings organ that was to be installed the next year.â€? The organ is long since gone; the current organ is Létourneau Op. 55 of 2000.

Database Manager on October 6th, 2006:

Used a Melodian until they purchased the Hook. The Hook was placed in an added apse. (Information from George Nelson)

Database Manager on February 28th, 2005:

Identified from company publications as edited and expanded in The Hook Opus List 1829-1935, ed. William T. Van Pelt (Organ Historical Society, 1991).
