Updated through online information from Andrew Henderson (November 4, 2025]: According to the Wilkes-Barre Times, this instrument was replaced by a new Farrand & Votey organ in 1897. Also, according to the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader (January 16, 1897): "... There will be no part of the old organ used. This will be sold to the builders and such an amount as can be got for it will be accepted on the new organ."
This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified from company publications as edited and expanded in The Hook Opus List 1829-1935, ed. William T. Van Pelt (Organ Historical Society, 1991).
