Database Manager on April 7th, 2005:

56n man, 19n ped. Build for St. Louis Fair. As this congregation was organized in 1859, the organ was probably transferred to them then. They broke ground for a new building in June 1860 which was not built, and the congregation disbanded. The handwritten list indicates that this organ later went to First Presbyterian, Jacksonville, IL (Old Op. 48)

Identified through information in the Pilcher factory ledgers, a handwritten list of organs and notes on the firm's history, and an emended copy of a list of organs from a catalog c. 1870. For more information see the document referenced below. In the first lists, this organ was originally assigned number 24.
