Updated by Dr. Franklin S. Miller, who has heard or played the organ. <br> <br>The following information is the result of a written stoplist and conversations with Art Aadland of Aadland Pipe Organ Co. which the writer had on June 12, 2017. Art is responsible for the most recent work on the organ. The writer learned on the original instrument almost 80 years ago. There is no visable pipework, only a set of ornamental grills. The 1937 instrument replaced a two manual Johnson & Sons tracker instrument.<br> During 1971 and 1972 A. Eugene Doutt, Watertown, SD (Builder ID 1687) installed a new console which was moved several feet to the front of the chancel. Doutt added a Trompette playable at 16', 8', 4' on the Swell and Pedal, put the entire Great division (except for the unit Dulciana) on a slider chest with electro-pneumatic pull downs and "large pouch" pneumatic slider motors, added, the 2-2/3' and the 2' Fifteenth on the Great, and may have added sub and super octave couplers.<br> Between 1995 and 1998, the Aadland Pipe Organ Company, Valley Springs, SD (Builder ID 13) installed a four rank Mixture and a unified Holzgedackt on the Great, and a 2-2/3' Nasard from which a 1-1/3' Larigot was derived, on the Swell. They also replaced the pneumatic slider motors with a servo motor system and added all new electro-magnetic stop tabs, extra blank tabs, all new stop panel, and all new key slips. The current system has eight levels of memory on 14 generals and 18 divisional pistons. (See the stoplist in a separate window.)
