The organ was relocated to a private residence near Bristol, Virginia, when it was replaced by a new instrument installed by Moller in 1970. The Pilcher organ is now installed at Christ the King Catholic Church in Abingdon, Virginia. A unified Krummhorn rank was added to the instrument after it was removed from its original installation in Kingsport.
Identified through information in Volume VIII p. 179 of the Pilcher factory ledger and the list of Pilcher organs typed by William E. Pilcher of Louisville. For more information see the document referenced below.
