Database Manager on June 16th, 2018:

Updated by Charles Eberline, naming this as the source of information: "Organ Update," The Tracker 32, no. 3 (1989): 11.

"[Patrick] Murphy reports that fire destroyed the pristine 1899 C. S. Haskell 2-18 tracker at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Philadelphia during August. A workman's torch ignited the roof." (A single-page insert titled "Last Minute" that accompanies The Tracker 32, no. 3, is dated "March, 1989," so "August" must mean August 1988.)
