Updated through online information from Richard C Greene. -- The E. & G.G. Hook organ (Opus 468, 1868) was built in the Centenary Methodist church. When the congregation built a new church and changed its name to Wesley Methodist, the organ was moved to the new church and enlarged by John E. Bergstrom.

Database Manager on July 25th, 2005:
In an 1891 building. The interior of the auditorium is a modified Akron design with curved pews and a thrust stage in the corner. The façade of the organ was behind the stage. The façade and some pipework were retained in a 1921 Estey, Op. 1978. The church, in its previous 1868 building (which contained E. & G. G. Hook Op. 468) was known as Centenary Methodist.
