This instrument is: Extant and Playable in this location

Database Manager on September 5th, 2005:

Identified through online information from Quentin Faulkner. -- Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Schuyler, NE, bought this organ in 1887. The church closed in 1994, and donated the organ to the University of Nebraska School of Music. The organ was moved to a practice room (Rm. 14) in Westbrook Music Building by the Gene R. Bedient Organ Company. Other than a new blower, it is in original (and excellent) condition. The instrument may still be pumped by hand.

Related Instrument Entries: Hook & Hastings (Opus 1324, 1886)
