On-line update from Timothy Tikker -- The Antiphonal organ was built by Dewey Layton in 1955, both as an independent instrument and as a division of the existing Austin organ, using the stop space prepared in the Austin console for the Echo division. Pedal is playable as such on chancel console. Antiphonal console has no pedals; the 16' Pedal stop plays in the bass range of the manual only. The Antiphonal was retained when the Reuter company replaced the Austin in 1970-71.
