Originally built in 1963 by Austin Organs, Inc., for McCoy Methodist Church, Birmingham, Ala. That church closed in the 1990s, and the instrument was purchased by Bluff Park United Methodist Church and placed in storage by Randall Dyer.

The console was rebuilt, new solid state switching installed, some minor tonal changes, and a vintage Austin chest substituted for the E. M. Skinner chest that was re-used in the Echo in the original installation.
