Updated through online information from James C. Burke, Ph.D.. -- The 17 May 1848 edition of the Wilmington Chronicle reported that "A new Organ, much larger than the old one, is now going up in St. James Church. It is from the manufactory of Jardine, New York ..." [Source: Wilmington Chronicle, 17 May 1848.]
