This congregation was the older church, downtown. The current congregation is a result off the merger of the two churches. The church website history page says:
"Zion Lutheran church was formed under the guidance of Rev. E.J. Roleder of Lodi in 1943. The original church building was located at the corner of Monroe and Willow streets north of downtown Stockton. It was a thriving congregation and eventually bought property in the newly developing Lincoln Village of North Stockton." It is unknown if the organ was moved to the new building in 1954.

On obtaining factory contract, the Swell Vox Humana was left off the A-S archive and Kinzey stoplists. It has been updated.
