Ian Mason on October 21st, 2026:

“The new organ has three manuals, 39 speaking stops, making a total of 2,212 pipes, 61 harp bars and 25 tubular chimes. The mechanism is electro-pneumatic throughout, the control of which consists of 21 couplers, 20 adjustable combination pistons, 7 reversible pistons and 2 tremulants. The electro-magnets in the mechanism total over 600 and the insulated copper wire wound on their poles and contained in the cables leading up to them from the console measure approximately 200 miles. . . .

The entire instrument is built behind a richly designed Gothic screen, which combines both beauty and dignity and is a new feature in organ building in this part of the province. The organ was installed at a cost of $15,000.”
