Database Manager on July 20th, 2012:
Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The Church of Christ congregation has decided not to keep the organ and has given it to Puget Sound Pipe Organs of Seattle - who will be removing it in late summer, 2012. The Swell scale 60 8' Salicional and Voix Celeste were removed from the organ on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 and installed in the 7-rank residence organ of Tracey Dobkins in Oak Harbor, Washington on Saturday, July 14, 2012 by Puget Sound Pipe Organs.

Database Manager on July 19th, 2012:
Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- We (Puget Sound Pipe Organs) visited the organ on December 5, 2010, and found 218 of the 871 Great/Choir/Pedal pipes stolen. All seven ranks were hit: Diapason, Octave, Gemshorn, Gemshorn Celeste, Clarabella, Clarinet, and Contre Bass. The cost of replacement pipes from Organ Supply Industries was $12,152.00. A 21-note set of chimes was also stolen. The Swell in the attic was untouched.

Database Manager on November 30th, 2010:
Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The building was purchased by a Church of Christ congregation. They are presently pondering whether to sell the organ as a whole, part it out, or keep and use it - even though traditionally their denomination sings a capella. One of the members told me that someone had stolen some of the pipework to sell for scrap value. I haven't seen the organ yet to see how much was taken, but have established contact with the church and a visit is in-the-works.

Database Manager on October 21st, 2006:
Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ is very oddly installed. The Great and Choir are in a basement chamber together, and speak up through a grate in he ceiling to a chamber space covered by an ornamental metal grille at the center of the church behind the Reader's platform. The Swell is in a chamber above the ceiling, and speaks out into a small octagonal space which is above a large, grille-covered opening in the center of the ceiling. The Swell and Gt/Ch are NEVER in tune with one another! The original comb. action was replaced with a new solid state system by Marceau & Associates of Portland, Oregon. At present (10/2006) the building has been sold and is scheduled to be razed and replaced. The disposition of the organ is being decided.
